A medical office in Newbury Park is in need of a Medical Front Office Admin on a temp to hire basis.Responsibilities Include -1.Greet patients and make them feel at ease 2.Answer telephones in a professional and pleasant manner3.Manage patient flow with PTs and Aides4.Schedule new and current patients in OptimisPT5.Check in charts 6.Data entry of new patient charts7.Completing and auditing new patient chart to verify that all the information is accurate8.Verification of Insurance and authorization of Workmans Compensation patients as well as continued authorization when patients max out their benefits as the year progresses.9.Collect patient payments or co-pays10.Prepare charts for following day as needed11.Assist with faxing and scanning as needed to ensure continued flow in the front office12.Uploading of documentation to patients folders13.Performing all opening or closing duties as required Requirements - - Candidates must have recent experience working int he administrative setting- Must be proficient with MS Office and computers- Must have an outgoing personality with strong customer service skills- Friendly and professional demeanor- Team Player- Ability to multi-taskThis temp to hire opportunity is paying between $13.00 - $15.00 per hour DOE.
