Job Description
AST is looking to hire a Yard/Loading Supervisor to oversee Port Hueneme, CA. (Oxnard)
Some job duties and requirements are listed below for Yard/Loading Supervisor
Yard/Loading Supervisor: assist dispatch operations, supervise the loading of trucks and yard operations during loading and operation hours. Effectively communicate with management and staff including all drivers. Must be detail oriented and able to multi-task.
Yard/Loading Supervisor utilizes technics to accurately maintain and supervise yard activities, service, and other duties assigned by management. Yard supervision also includes, working in conjunction with on-site facilities management, inventory, vehicle tracking and communication with drivers to ensure expedient delivery of cargo to each proper destination.
Yard/Loading Supervisor will report directly to management and maintain a clean, orderly work area and maintain the healthy practice of great communication with our customers. Computer skills are necessary and the willingness to work all shifts as needed, including weekends.
