Analyzes, validates and modifies customer requirements and translates them into manufacture:able designs. Communicates with the factory, vendors, customers and the sales team. JOB DUTIES: Conceptual design of RF products such as CATV actives, passives, and filters.Works with vendors and purchasing to specify componentsWorks closely with other designers as part of a multi: disciplinary teamWorks closely with program and project managers to define product development and production schedulesWorks closely with manufacturing to define QC/QA procedures for productionTranslates requirements for designs from both internal company product development and customer specifications.Generates schematics and BOM'sWorks with development teams including, systems engineers, mechanical engineers, sales teams, marketing, and vendors to refine and define design requirementsResponsible to release and maintain completed design documentsmunicates efficiently with other departments. REQUIREMENTS:5 years minimum experience with RF product design, including basic RF circuit developmentAbility to communicate clearly with others in a demanding, time sensitive environment; including the ability to manage frequent verbal and written communications from employees, customer and vendors.Must have strong interpersonal skills and have the ability to collaborateAbility to discuss technical ideas with non:technical peopleBasic experience in RF filter designMust be organized with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast pace environment.Basic RF testing experienceBasic QC experience is a plus, but not requiredElectrical Circuit Design software knowledge a plusExperience in efficient design practices and reviewExperience using various software applications including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and MS PowerPointBS degree in Engineering is a must, prefer candidate with Masters or PhD **Due to the nature of the work and our customers, candidates may be required to be US citizen or hold a current Permanent Residency card.EEO is the law.

Worldwide installation, logistics, and repair support are performed by our in:house service organization with assistance from local CPI offices.
