The Process Technician position is located in Camarillo, CA. Job Function and Responsibilities Duties may include, but not limited to the following: * Performs the set:up, programming, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of microelectronics packaging equipment including components attach, epoxy dispense, ball attach, saw, and wire:bond. * Provides technical assistance to Process Engineering personnel by running process experiments, processing prototype units, and performing first article inspections. * Provides direct training to operations team. * Creates work instructions and process flows that can be easily interpreted by operations team. * Performs various technical duties requiring initiative, judgment, and technical training. * Ensures there is an MSDS for all chemicals and chemical samples acquired and turned into the safety coordinator. * May occasionally be required to work overtime and some weekends. Qualification and Experience: * Associate degree in Engineering or technical college degree * Minimum 3 years of technician experience in microelectronics assembly process of die attach, wire and ribbon bonding, laser welding, equipment programming and troubleshooting of automated and manual die attach and wire bond equipment. Understand and apply electronic and electro mechanical theory of applications. * Experience with die attach, epoxy dispense, package saw, ball attach, and wire:bond equipment is required. * Familiarity with Design of Experiments (DOE) and the principles of Six:Sigma and SPC methods is required. * This job requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by the export laws of the United States. Candidates are required to provide proof of either US citizenship, Permanent US residency or classification as a protected individual as defined in 8 USC xxxxb (a) (3).
