Awesome DIRECT HIRE opportunity : ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Other duties may be assigned. Develops and directs procedures and methods to ensure quality standards are met and maintained. Directly or indirectly through others, provides engineering expertise in the areas of assembly process instructions, prints, specifications, equipment set up and maintenance, raw materials and vended products throughout the organization. Recommends methods, materials and layouts for improvement based on manufacturing needs and capabilities. Acts as chief liaison with home office and performs general management functions to include: management of all staff (other than Sales) monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, facilities and equipment management, risk management and regulatory reporting. Develops and is accountable for financial operating budget and variance reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis. Provides technical sales support with prospective or new clients. Functions as Test Engineer for all non:standard testing requirements EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelors' degree in any technical field related to opto:electronics or equivalent, and three (3) years' experience with engineering and testing of electronic devices that source, detect and control light or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Three (3) years' experience with quality management in opto:electronics. Prior general management experience, including managing others directly.
