Engineering Technician 3
The primary responsibility of this technician will include manual soldering (include both solder wire and solder paste and epoxy), manual wire bonding, X ray and operation of the automatic semiconductor(microelectronics) assembly equipment including but not limited to SMT, Die Attach, Wire Bond. Will constantly use tweezer, multimeter, microscope, solder iron, hot plate tools.
Shift hours are 10:30am to 7pm Monday through Friday. Extended hours are expected.
Job Requirements:
Candidate should have associates degree or equivalent years of experience. They should be able to solder small component (xxxx5 size like), LGA or BGA sample solder mounting to evaluation board and perform semiconductor assembly equipment. General knowledge of any kind of machine programming is needed. Knowledge of the direct SMT/Die Attach/Wire bond equipment operation are strongly preferred. Excellent communication skills, ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Proficiency in Bench level/trouble shooting electronic equipment. Ability to understand schematics and diagrams. Familiarity with handling RF chip devices in an ESD environment. Experience with MS:Office and Windows OS. Must have team:oriented attitude, accountability and ownership.
