Library Page, 10 hours per week Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalentSelected candidate must perform alphanumeric sorting and filing tasksIndividual will arrange returned materials on book trucks and shelve them in the proper orderIndividual will shelf:read and straighten materials on library bookshelvesEmpty book drops and take returned items to proper shelving areasPerform check:in and check:out proceduresAssist with library programs and displaysPerform other tasks as assigned by primary supervisorSelected candidate must have the ability to sort materials in alphabetic, alphanumeric, and numeric orderIndividual must have the ability to follow detailed instructionsGood interpersonal skills with library staff and the public are highly desiredFrequent carrying and lifting of library materials is required of the selected candidateMust have the ability to differentiate and read spine labelsHave the ability to maintain a regular work schedule which includes evening and weekend shifts Employment with LS and S is strictly contingent upon the successful completion of our extensive background and reference check process.
